The images in this gallery represent experiences and impressions of sky and clouds that have caught my imagination.

I am fascinated by the fact that I am often equally impressed by what is happening above as I am by the absence of visible activity. What is visible and what is not has always fascinated me.

I find I am just as intrigued by interesting and evocative cloud formations and the play of light across the sky as I am by the vast emptiness of a brilliant blue sky or a ceiling of white "blankness".
